CHARITY WORK
Turning dreams into reality
John's long term dream is to invite a selection of UK charities to nominate children who live in inner-city environments, to experience an all-expenses-paid trip to the French mountains to discover nature, sport and tranquillity. Hopefully, making a profound change in the trajectory of each child's life.
A substantial percentage of the profit of every one of John's Cycling Retreats will go towards bringing a small group of young people to the French mountains.

John has been working closely with a number of UK charities for several years.
In 2021 John in partnership with Open Doors and Nike founded a successful initiative providing safe spaces in local schools over holidays, helping young people to develop through sport.
John has personally seen the impact that sport and positive role models played on his own life when he served a double life sentence in a maximum-security prison.
After breaking three world records and eight British records for rowing whilst in solitary confinement, John is now a Nike endurance athlete, who is dedicated to creating social change through the power of sport.
John is passionate about coaching and inspiring youth to change their lives for the better.
